Imagine a farm using organic methods to grow food on 40 acres inside the limits of the City of Spokane! It really exists! It’s in the Vinegar Flats neighborhood in Southwest Spokane and is crossed by both Latah Creek and Crystal Springs Creek. Since 2004, we humbly offer the healthy vegetables grown here -- to you.

In 2020, our farmstand is open at 2201 S Inland Empire Way. It will be open Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to Noon, April 18th thru October 17th. Look for us in the open field on Inland Empire Way. Here’s your chance to help farming continue right in the city! A break in the pavement, the end of the sidewalk.

Our plants are growing food for you to add the final ingredient, your soul and love to nourish your friends and family. Jim’s family has been farming in Washington State for 137 years and in America since 1743. But it never gets old! Another ten years and Vinegar Flats Farm will be an overnight success!
